Well guys, it’s now July! Where are you on your New Year’s Resolution to get lean?! Hopefully you are making great strides toward your goal! If you’re not there yet, don’t worry, just stay persistent. In 2003, I bought a new pair of jeans which quickly became my favorite. One day in 2005, I was no longer able to deny that I had packed on a few pounds at college. The butt of my jeans ripped and I could no longer tell myself that my two year old jeans had shrunk in the dryer…I was just growing out of them! I retired my favorite jeans that day. Their new home was on the door to my room as a constant reminder that they didn’t fit and I needed to do something in order to get back into my beloved jeans again. It wasn’t until the fall of 2009 that I was able to fit in those jeans again, but I did it!
It shouldn’t take you that long to reach your goal. It took me that long because I didn’t learn about Leaner Living until the fall of 2008. Almost 4 years later, I’ve never felt better! I’m less tired, have more energy, and I’m fitting in my “skinny” jeans!
