Hello out there and thanks for checking out my new blog! This is my first ever attempt at writing a blog… here goes nothing!
As you may have read from my bio, I led a pretty active lifestyle throughout my childhood—running and playing sports. It seemed easy, especially with all of the free time I had. And now? Well, now I’m a third year in medical school… which translates into long hours on rotations and lots of studying. Free time is now such a precious commodity, as I am sure it is for many of you. It’s not quite as easy to squeeze in that extra mile or that extra set (or even any gym time at all some days) when you are trying to juggle all of your obligations (to work, school, family, friends, etc) and still find some time for yourself. These days I’m seeking more of a balance—a balance between work, working out, eating well, and still having some fun!
If this sounds like something you are trying to achieve as well, then I’m your girl! It is this sense of balance which will be the underlying theme of my blog. Along with the usual workout and diet tips, I plan on incorporating some fun AND Leaner Living approved activities. These ideas will hopefully help bring balance into your life. Please keep in mind that I’m not a fitness professional (actually none of us are) but I hope to share with you what I think is a practical way of living life and staying lean at the same time (balance).
