Now before you think I have gone mad, I need to tell you that I tried this recipe because of how powerful my blender is (A Vitamix). The demonstrators said that you can blend anything into a smooth consistency because of its great power. So because of this I figured I might as well try to be daring and throw some spinach in my shakes. The first time I tried I only threw a few leaves of spinach in the blender with my normal strawberry and vanilla shake. I didn’t notice any difference in taste and the color remained strawberry cream. I added more and more spinach each time I made the shake, testing the power of my new blender as well as the capability of strawberries and Vanilla Ice Cream Leaner Living MRP to mask the flavor of spinach. Each consecutive try my smoothie grew greener and greener. I still have not reached a threshold of spinach amount, but I keep it under two cups of raw leaves. This is a great way to add those extra veggies if you’re having some trouble fitting them in somewhere!
