To make things simple we created a list of foods that are considered approved if you are following our eating plan. This is not an all inclusive list, but it is made up of the foods we recommend most. The list is broken down into the categories Lean Protein, Lean Carbs, and Lean Fats so you are able to see our diet in terms of macronutrients as opposed to just foods like the Lean Pyramid.

** Animal Fats include the unavoidable small amounts of saturated fat from lean meats, dairy, and eggs. Eating the leanest meats will minimize this even though only about half of the fat in meat is saturated. Saturated fat can be a part of a healthy Leaner Living diet.
